The real ESSENCE of christmas :)

We had our share of difficulties this year, especially the last few months when a series of natural calamities affected parts of the country. But as in  the past, we have weathered all these trials and now we celebrate the merriest of our holidays, CHRISTMAS, with great hope and faith in our resiliency and strength as a people.
Yuletide is the time of observing happy traditions like going from house to house at night to sing christmas carols in return for gifts. It is also the time to send greeting cards, hang the gaily decorated parol, set up the colorfully lit christmas tree, go to church for simbang gabi , and give gifts to others with LOVE.

True to the filipino's penchant for merrymaking, we sometimes exxagerate things  a bit to maximize the festive atmosphere that goes  with christmas.

The real essence of christmas is not about what we  RECEIVE. It's all about what we GIVE. We should spill love unconditionally not only to the people we know, but also to all of THEM.

We should not also forget to thank HIM. Our dear creator. For all he has given throughout the year...

                  HAPPY HOLIDAYS : D

EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

When we were born, we begin to carry the word, "RIGHTS". All have the right to live. The right to everything. Above all of those, we must be given "EQUALITY".
Even though you're the richest of all rich. The prettiest. The tallest. EQUALITY still exist. And we must take note of that.
They say "EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES" Girl or Boy. Young or Old. Rich or Poor. Each of us have the right to opportunities. If we are all threatened fairly.

Climate Change: The Future Is In OUR hands

Can you still hear the whistling of the wind? The breezing of the sea? The singing of the birds?? Can you still see the smiling of the sun? The swaying of the trees? The twinkling of the stars?

Good if you do. Because those things are not that vague anymore to our naked eyes and ears. How? Why?

It is indeed because of CLIMATE CHANGE. The sudden transformation. The coming of  unexpected happening. The  breaking of the land. The splashing of the water. Everything unexpected may happen due to the continous change in climate.

People get sick, many may die. What can we do to survive? Learn to adapt to your environment. Be sensitive. Go with the flow not with the blow. Keep yourself be filled with vitamins. Strengthen your resistence, for longer EXISTENCE.

Reflection

In one word, second grading is FUN. Eventhough sometimes I get in trouble, I still can find myself having fun while learning.
 ICT? Simply AMAZING!!

I've learned that in order to survive in a busy-kind-of-days you must find time for everything. Because life is not about finding a needle in haystack, it's all about believing that it's there. Nothing is impossible when we strive and believe.

Insert <br> when you are tired. <center> GOD in our hearts. And let Education be spelled <big> and . And always <end> each day with SMILE and PRAYERS. :)

Upholding English Proficiency Through Communicative Competence

English has been our bridge to understand each other all over the world. It is why we are considering English as our universal language.

Filipino's, nowadays, are known for being fluent in english. That made our country, Philippines, on march to progress.

In economic terms, we used English in dealing with somebody about business from abroad. Fortunately, many of them wanted to become our partners.

English proficiency, have been part of our daily living, and it will always be.

Science In Daily Life

"Science never solves a problem without creating ten more."
                                                                                                             -George Bernard Shaw

Science have been a part of our lives. It’s visible that we cannot go through to our own lives anymore without those inventions, and discoveries which  make us comfortable in our daily work.

Generation by generation, science go and improve. In different aspects of course. But it all revolves in one purpose. “FOR THE BETTERMENT OF MANKIND”.

But above all of the good things brought by science, we should also consider  the bad things. The  truth behind every success of science. People are now getting  selfishly lazy. We put all our responsibilities in the name of science without even thinking  that we are abusing it. Scientricity requires a large amount of energy. So we must  use everything properly. Inorder for us to enjoy life.

CONSERVE ENERGY.LIVE. LOVE. LAUGH.

My Teacher My HERO :)

"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tags and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called TRUTH"--- Dan Rather

In life, people may come and go, some will be remembered and some are forgotten. But one thing is for sure, I'll never forgot the person who is known as my second parent.

The one who  taught me that without education, life means nothing. The one who inspired me to soar high. The one who've sacrificed just for me to learn the reality about life. The one who is there when things are unclear. The one who lighten every minds that every time we fall, life must still go on.

H-E-R-O, is also spelled as TEACHERS. For they make difference in every students life. For they leave something remarkable in every students heart. For they are the savior of every  students future.

Be proud to shout ,"MY TEACHER IS MY HERO".

My Lifetime Hero

For "whoever calls  on the name of the Lord shall be saved". -Romans 10:13

In my one decade plus six more years of existence, I do believe that hero is defined not only by means of sacrificing life, once you've  done anything good for the convenience of anybody with all your heart therefore you are a HERO.
I grew up with the guiding hands of of our dear creator. He is my hero. For he is always there when life turns bad. When things went wrong. Most especially when hope seems to fade.
He serve as my shoulder where I can cry on. My light when dark strikes. My path to walk on. My best friend where I can share things. My true lover when felt unloved. My savior in danger. My lifetime HERO.

Filipino Language goes International

Communication is very important in our everyday life. Language are our means of communicating. Language are more than things to someone else. We share ideas, knowledge, and experiences through what we say  and what we feel.
We can no longer hide the fact that our very own language goes international in these days. It is little by little appreciated and used not only by our fellow countrymen but also to those visitors coming in our country.
It is indeed that our language keep us united. It is the strong bond keeping us, Filipino citizens to help each other. Our language serve as our key to the door of progress.
Every Filipino should be proud of using our dear language. Love Filipino. Be proud to be Filipino.

Keep Learning...

Rapid advances in information technology demand a need for proficiency especially in computer skills. Competency in manipulating and utilizing the computer for learning to learn will spell out the difference whether a student will succeed or not in their studies.

It is better to endure the hardship of learning than the bitterness of ignorance. Living almost four years in ICT class teach me how to cope up to the changing atmosphere brought by the advancement of technology that we cannot deny the fact that it is the leitmotif of our lives now.
Computer manipulation is not my tempo. It is why I really find a hard time utilizing and mastering some strategies on how to make a good project or output. But, with the help of our patient-understanding considerable mentors, I learned a lot of things.
Moving on, I will try to have wider mind to understand lessons in just one glance.
To sum it up, my ICT journey is like riding to a bicycle. To keep you balance you must keep moving. And you'll just find out that you have reached your goal. Just keep moving and keep learning. #

New Hope

"Forgive and forget ang lahat ng atraso ng mga naglubog sa atin sa bulok na estado? Ang magpatawad,  maari, ang makalimot, hindi." An earlarging passage which is the leitmotif of the second State Of the Nation Address of our acting President held last July 23, 2012.

President Aquino mentioned the inherited 8% unemployment rate has reduced to 6.9%. He also cited that 85% of Filipinos are now Philhealth members, 4.57 million students who could not go to school due to poverty are now able to study, 30 000 nurses deployed to over 36 000 barangays and different State Universities and Colleges will get a 43.61% budget increase in 2013.

We are now little by little approaching to what we are dying  before. We are near development. And we could wholesomely achieve this goal if we are to continue what we have started.

Filipinos made change possible, change comes from the citizenry. Citizenry starts new hope..

                                                Begin  With  Veggie

It  is striking to note that there s an annual death rate of  15 000 due to malnutrition. A tragic fact is that we are compounding this by our typical lack of basic knowledge and know-how in the preparation of proper meals.

One of the root  causes of malnutrition is the traditional Filipino diet which is , rice and fish. This combination is very low in calories, lacking in protein, and deficient in vitamin A, iron and minerals.

Diet and health are closely related. The growth and normal development of children and the strength and efficiency of adults depend to a great degree on what they eat. Vegetables contain all the nutritive properties to make good blood and healthy body.

Eating vegetables can prevent us from diseases, lengthens our life span, energize our body. and with a little amount of money everybody can enjoy so fresh and very nutritious vegetables.

A malnourished person is therefore unproductive and unresponsive to creativity. He becomes a drag in the dynamic development of our society. So, start a healthy lifestyle. We should promote eating vegetables. And lessen our country's malnourished percentage. Make our country as the most healthiest nation. Start in green. Begin with VEGGIE.
